Some Women Consider Labor a Marathon

As a Medical Provider I am often asked about playing certain sports or continuing with exercise programs during pregnancy. My response is always the same, research has shown that most individuals can continue their same level of exercise during pregnancy, and deliver a healthy baby; however, you should not increase your level of physical activity after becoming pregnant, because your body will have a difficult time supporting your life style change and the development of another life form. I guess some ladies just take that advice and run with it, check it out.
